After the leaks of the Grand Jury transcripts to the media, Judge Melville gave Michael permission to react.

He gave an interview to Geraldo Rivera. During the interview he revealed that he is working with his brothers on a song to benefit the victims of the Tsunami disaster.

  • March 1 (Day 2):

Michael went to court with Katherine & Jackie. Mesereau completed his opening statement. The prosecution opened his case by showing the Martin Bashir documentary to the Jury before calling Bashir as the first witness. His testimony was followed by the one of Ann Gabriel.

  • March 2 (Day 3):

Michael went to court with Katherine & Jackie. Ann Gabriel was cross examined by the defense.

  • March 3 (Day 4):

Michael went the court with Jackie & Katherine. The prosecution showed a video of the Neverland search to the Jury. Albert Lafferty testified followed by Davellin Arvizo.

  • March 4 (Day 5):

Michael went to court with Katherine, LaToya & Jermaine. The prosecution showed the rebuttal interview of the Arvizo family made by Michael’s team. Davellin Arvizo was cross examined by Mesereau.

  • March 7 (Day 6):

Michael went to court with Katherine, Joe & Jermaine. Mesereau finished Davellin Arvizo’s cross examination. The prosecution presented the audio interview of the Arvizo family to the Jury before calling it’s next witness: Arvizo himself.

  • March 8 (Day 7):

  • March 9 (Day 8):

Michael went to court with Katherine, Joe, Jermaine & Tito. Mesereau completed the cross examination. The next witness was Gavin Arvizo.

Michael arrived 1 hour late, dressed in pajamas with Katherine, Joe, Jermaine & Tito because a terrible back-ache caused by a fall, took him to the emergency room of the hospital. Gavin’s testimony resumed.

Special hearing where the Judge & the lawyers determined the rules of Jury deliberations. Neither Michael, nor the Jury attended court.

  • June 1 (Day 64):

Michael in court with Katherine, Joe & Randy where Judge Melville gave the Jury the rules of Jury Deliberations.

  • June 2 (Day 66):

While Jury deliberations took place, the whole Jackson family waits for the verdict at Neverland.

The Jury reached a verdict. Michael and the Jackson family went to court where he was acquitted on all counts!! They went back to Neverland. The trial is over. Michael was Innocent!!!


  • June 14 :

Michael’s acquittal was seen everywhere in the media. Mesereau gave an interview to Larry King. Michael, Grace and the kids left Neverland and went to San Diego to stay at Deepak Choprah’s home.

  • June 17 :

Michael’s passeport was returned to him as well as his $3 million bail.

  • June 19 :

Michael, Grace & the kids discretely leave the US and flew to Paris where they checked in the Crillon Hotel.

Grace took Prince & Paris to Los Angeles where they got to see Debbie for the first time in years at a Beverly Hills Hotel.

Fortress Investments sued Michael for $48 million, for the $437 million loan they gave him last November in order to pay back his $272 million debt to the Bank Of America.

In New Orleans, Judge Fallon was furious that neither Michael nor any of his layers attended a court proceeding in the Joseph Bartucci case.

Judge Melville ordered Sneddon to give back any material belonging to Michael from the raid at Neverland except the 1993 body pictures

Sony released a new double CD Greatest Hits titled ‘The Essential’ as well as the live DVD of  The 1992 Dangerous Tour in Bucharest’ .

Court Hearing in the Joseph Bartucci case in New Orleans. Judge Eldon Fallon fined Michael $10,000 for failing to be represent at a previous hearing. Michael’s new attorney was Charles Gay & Bartucci’s new attorney was William Pigg.

Michael had lunch at the Burj Al Arab Hotel in Dubai with a Bahraini delegation.

  • August 23:

Janet Arvizo was charged with a five counts complaint of welfare fraud by the Los Angeles District Attorney.

Michael’s 47th birthday!

He spent one week in Dubai with Prince Abdullah & top Arab motor sport personality Mohamed Ben Sulayem.

  • September 6:

Raymone Bain announced that Michael had wrote a new charity song named “From The Bottom Of My Heart” for the victims of the hurricane Katrina in New Orleans . He wanted to record the song within the next two weeks with other recording superstars and will release it on 2 Seas Records, a label owned by Prince Abdullah & Jermaine Jackson.

Michael Jackson Talked to Oprah is telecast live from Neverland Valley around the world attracting around 100 million viewers. During the interview, Michael revealed that he suffered from a skin disorder that destroys the pigmentation of his skin. He also showed his ranch to the world, premiered the video of “Give In To Me” and improvises a beat box on “Who Is It” after doing the Moonwalk. Michael started working on a short film named “Is This Scary” with Stephen King and Mick Garris for a song scheduled to appear on “The Adam Family Values” soundtrack.

Evan Chandler & his attorney Barry Rothman set a plot to extort money from Michael. During a phone call to Dave Schwartz (Jordy’s stepfather), Evan threatened to destroys Michael if he didnt get what he wanted. Michael’s attorney Bert Fields hired private investigator Anthony Pellicano.

  • July 9 :

Dave & June Schwartz played the tape conversation to Pellicano who then visited Jordy & Lily at Michael’s Century City condominium.

Chandler & Rothman asked June To let Jordy stay with Evan for a “one week visitation period”

  • August 4:

Evan & Jordy met Michael & Pellicano in a suite at the Westwood Marquis Hotel (this was the last time Michael & Jordy ever saw each other)

Later that evening, Pellicano went to Rothman’s office where he & Chandler made their demand for $20 millions

During another meeting in Rothman’s office, Pellicano proposed a counter offer : a $ 350 000 screenwriting deal but Chandler rejected

Rothman made a counter demand: a deal for three screenplays or nothing but Pellicano refused it

On behalf of June Schwartz, attorney Michael Freeman notified Rothman that he will be filing paper early the next morning that will force Chandler to turn over Jordy.

Reacting quickly Chandler took Jordy to psychiatrist Mathis Abrams. During a three hour session, Jordy (under drug sodium Amytal) lied and accused Michael

Abrams, who was required by law to report any such accusations to authorities called a social worker at the Department of Children’s Services who in turn contacted the police

The Los Angeles Police Department officially opened a criminal investigation against Michael Jackson based on accusations of child molestation made by Jordy Chandler
